VERA L. THORMAN
(7/4/1938 – 7/28/2006)

Vera L. Thorman, 68, of Stover, MO, passed away on July 28, 2006, at Capital Regional Medical Center, Jefferson City, MO.

Vera was born July 4, 1938, in Milton, IA, the daughter of Leland L. and Meryl E. Morton.

She received her education in the Scotland County R-I School District.

Vera is survived by her best friend, Terry Girardin of Stover; two daughters, Peggy Overhuls and husband, Pete of Palm Beach, FL, and Susan Macino and husband, Guy of Chicago, IL, and one son, Bill Watkins of Houston, TX; two sisters, Cheryl Pulliam of Macon, MO, and Linda Fawver of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Dick Morton of Memphis, MO; three granddaughters, Shelly, Eva and Misty and two grandsons, Billy Ray and Guy Jr.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Billy W. Morton in 1950 and Jimmy D. Morton in 1997.

As Vera wished, cremation rites were accorded and there will be no services.
