MILDRED MAE WAIDE

Mildred Mae Waide, 85, of Hannibal, MO, died July 23, 2006, at her home.

Mrs. Waide was born July 28, 1920, in Memphis, MO, to Clyde F. and Emogene M. Crawford Peterson.

She was married to Lewell E. Waide on October 17, 1938 in Kirksville, MO. He preceded her in death in March 1989.

Survivors include one brother, John R. Peterson of Hannibal, MO; one sister, Betty J. Newman of Hannibal, MO; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Coralie Ferris; and an infant sister, Virginia Peterson.

Mrs. Waide was a homemaker. She was a member of Immanauel Baptist Church. Mrs. Waide enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Funeral services were held July 26, 2006, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Pastor Mark Albee officiated. Burial was in the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO. Pallbearers were Bo Nickelson, Rodney Ferris, Harold Wayne Johnston, Jr., Jeremy Ferris, Jon LaRose, and Tony Galluzzio. Honorary pallbearers were Nolan Newman, Steve Newman, John Peterson, Dale Peterson, and Randy Peterson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church or Blessing Hospice of Hannibal in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc.
