Adam Franklin Seaver, age 24, of rural Arbela, MO, died April 20, 2006, at his home.

He was born August 1, 1981 at Memphis, MO, a son of Lyle and Virginia Sherrill Seaver.

Survivors include his parents of Arbela, MO; his grandparents, Frank and Lila Seaver of Luray, MO and Raymond and Letha Sherrill of Kahoka, MO; a special lady whom he lovingly referred to as “Grandma Helen”, Helen Overfield of Memphis, MO; a brother, Tommy Seaver of Arbela, MO; uncles and aunts: Kenneth and Melissa Sherrill of Kahoka, Steve and Linda Sherrill of Wyaconda, Dennis and Tammy Eddleman of Glenwood, IA, and, Gary and Jodie Seaver of Arbela, MO; cousins: Jeremiah Sherrill, Janessa Erb, Jennifer Sherrill, David and Anthony Sherrill, and, Danielle, John, and Devin Eddleman; lifelong friends, Eric Jones, Robert Tinkle, Kory Norton, Mike Smith, Kimmie Smith and John Eddleman; as well as great-uncles and aunts, cousins, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.

Adam was a 2001 graduate of Scotland County R-1 High School where he was on the honor roll all four years and also named to Who’s Who in American High School Students on two occasions. He was employed at The Scott’s Company at Fort Madison, IA for the past three and a half years. He was a hard worker and loved his job. He also loved the outdoors - farming, working with cattle and 4-wheel riding with his friends. Adam was a polite and well-mannered young man. He was also funny and at the same time, warm, kind and loving. He would do anything for anybody.

Funeral services were held April 25, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Goldie Laymon officiating. Burial followed at the Seaver-Eddleman Family Cemetery located at his family’s farm.

Pallbearers were Eric Jones, Robert Tinkle, Kory Norton, John Eddleman, Steve Sherrill, Anthony Sherrill and Jeremiah Sherrill. Mrs. Bonnie Vineyard was pianist.

Memorials were suggested to the Scotland Co. R-1 High School, c/o Wilson Funeral Home, P. O. Box 199, Kahoka, MO.
