DORIS L. FRANK

Doris L. Frank, 92, of Roseville, IL, formerly of Bushnell, IL, died March 25, 2006, at Roseville Country Manor, Roseville, IL.

She was born April 16, 1913, to Roy C. and Mabel Stevenson Spurgeon, Bonaparte, IA.

Doris married Paul H. Frank, December 30, 1943 at Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1976,

She is survived by three sons, Deo Dover of Kirksville, MO, Jim and Judy Frank of Dunfermline, IL, and John and Rosemary Frank of Bushnell, IL; three daughters, Donna and Lloyd Ruble of Tulare, CA, Jean and Bob Douglas of Bushnell, IL, and Judy and Larry Shepard of Roseville, IL; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two grandchildren.

She graduated from Kirksville State Teachers College and taught school for many years in Missouri. Doris was a member of the Methodist Church in Luray, MO, and a member of the Bushnell V.F.W. Auxiliary. She loved cooking, gardening and raising flowers. She was also an avid Bingo player.

Funeral services were held at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell, IL, March 28, 2006, with Rev. Trisha Chapman officiating. Graveside services were held at Combs Cemetery in Luray, MO on March 28, 2006. Memorial contributions may be made to the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
