NANN MARY ROBBINS
(8/27/1940 – 2/24/2006)
Nann Mary Robbins, 65, died February 24th at her home in Dime Box, Texas.
She was born in Charlotte, Iowa August 27th, 1940 to Walter and Erana Camp.
Nann taught English as a second language on the island of Majuro in the Republic of the Marshall Islands and upon returning to the United States, taught English and Physical Education in Dime Box, Texas. She spent her summers traveling the oceans of the world, crewing on sailing vessels, skin diving and making lasting friendships wherever she went.
Nann is survived by her husband, Pastor Douglas A. Robbins of Dime Box, Texas; children Bart Ried and wife Judy of Austin, Texas, Sheila Chandler and husband Brian of Buda, Texas, Laura Dryden and husband Jimmy of Austin, Texas; stepchildern JoAnn Robbins of Maquoketa, Iowa, Eloiese Krabbenhoft and husband Marvin of Austin, Texas, Martha Preuss and husband Allen of Rosenburg, Texas, Claire Berg and husband Delano of Memphis, Missouri; seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers: Fawn Heil and husband Curtis of Charlotte, Iowa, John Camp of Charlotte, Iowa, Paul Camp and wife Claudia of Lancaster, Texas, Gail Adrian of Charlotte, Iowa, her twin sister, Noel Hertensen of Maquoketa, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Mark Reid.
