ORVILLE “DEAN” CRADER, SR.

Orville “Dean” Crader, Sr., 69, of Topeka, KS, passed away February 4, 2006, at Midland Hospice.
Mr. Crader was an independent truck driver. He also had been a truck driver for Fleming Foods before he retired.
He was born July 21, 1936 in Topeka, KS, the son of John Wesley and Mayme Barton Crader.
Dean served in the United States Army for five years. He was stationed in Europe for three and one-half years.
Mr. Crader was a charter member of the Berryton Kiwanis Club.
He was married to Mary Louise Cochenour on January 14, 1960 in Kansas City, MO. She survives.
A daughter, Teresa Ann Crader passed away October 28, 1966.
Survivors, besides his wife include two sons, John Franklin Crader of Berryton, KS and Dean Crader, Jr. of Topeka, KS; a daughter, Cynthia Louise Lane of Noblesville, IN; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Crader were held at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, February 8, 2006. Burial followed in Lynn Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Midland Hospice Care, Inc. and sent in care of the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th AV, Topeka, KS 66603.
