Blomme, Shelley and Wickert Honored By League Coaches

At 6’10” tall, North Shelby’s Cody Stoneburner stood above the rest of the Tri-Rivers Conference and on March 2 the league’s most dominant force was honored as the Conference MVP. Stoneburner was joined on first team all-conference by teammate and fellow senior Scott Ratcliff. The rest of the top honors went to juniors, Brandon Thomas of Putnam County, Adam Huckey of Clark County and Brent Paahlar of Brookfield.

The second team all-conference consisted of Garet Nunan, a senior from Knox County; DJ Shatley, a senior from Clark County; Ben Brummit, a senior from Putnam County; Luke Lambert a sophomore from Brookfield; Alex Horn, a senior from Schuyler County; Jonathon Norman, a senior from Schuyler County; Cody Protsman, a junior from Clark County, Chris Dickson, a senior from Milan; Brett Craigmyle, a junior from North Shelby; Bryce Blomme, a sophomore from Scotland County; Dirk Van Ingen, a senior from Milan, and Tyson Alexander, a junior from Putnam County.

Named to the honorable mention list were: Chris Perry, a junior from North Shelby; Drew Huckey, a junior from Clark County; Brett Hamlin, a junior from Knox County, Jared Shelley, a senior from SCR-I, Gaylon Gorman, a senior from Schuyler County; Luke Speichinger, a junior from Brookfield; Kellen Stokes, a senior from Knox County; Patrick Hatcher, a senior from Milan; Corey Mason, a senior from Putnam County; TJ Duncan, a junior from Clark County; Matt Wickert, a sophomore from SCR-I and Taylor McDowell, a senior from North Shelby.

North Shelby’s Steve Carvajal was named the league’s coach of the year.
