KATHRYN LOUISE DAVIS

Kathryn Louise Davis, 83, of Bible Grove passed away November 5, 2005 at Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
She was born the daughter of Simeon Edelbert and Alpha Louise (Roberts) Stone on August 1, 1922 in the Mt. Pleasant Township in Scotland County. She attended Baring High School.
Kathryn was married to Henry Joe Grosenkemper. To this union two daughters, Darlene and Betty, were born. She then married Leland Davis on January 22, 1947.
Kathryn was a member of the First Christian Church in Memphis. She also belonged to the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #4958 in Memphis, MO. Kathryn was employed at the Scotland County Care Center at the time of her death and had worked there for 28 years.
She most of all enjoyed her family and many friends. She also enjoyed her flowers and her yard work. Her three little dogs were especially dear to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant granddaughter, Tina Marie Dugger; a sister, Eileen Barker; a brother, Harold R. Stone; and a niece, Denise Stone.
She is survived by: a brother, Darrel Stone; her daughters, Darlene and husband Jack Dannenhauer of Bible Grove, and Betty and husband Robert Dugger of rural Memphis; seven grandchildren, Dana and husband Kenny Hauk, Danette and husband Denis Clatt, Adam Dannenhauer, Aaron and wife Stacie Dannenhauer, and Becca Dannenhauer, all of Memphis, David Dugger of Edina, and Jane and husband Blake Holt of Arbela; thirteen great-grandchildren, Amanda Long, Cassandra Hauk, Emily Mauck, Gavin and Ivy Hauk, Casey, Kaela, and Abby Clatt, Kristina, Kassie, and Brandon Dugger, and Lacey and Laden Holt; and three great-great-grandchildren, Julie, Hayden, and Alex Long.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2005 at the Gerth Funeral Home in Memphis with Pastor Jim Campbell officiating. Ann Luther, Scott Westhoff, and Angela Westhoff will perform special music. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation is from 1-8 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2005, at the Gerth Funeral Home in Memphis with the family present from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials have been suggested to the Bible Grove Historical Preservation Society or the Donorís Choice and can be left at or mailed to the Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main, Memphis, MO 63555.
