ESTELYNE VERLEE LOUDER

Estelyne Verlee Louder, 84, of Memphis, MO, died September 21, 2005, at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, MO.
She was born August 13, 1921, in Scotland County to Howard H. and Lulu Ethel Cone Hunter.
She married W. Victor Rush on February 9, 1946, in Atchison, KS, and he died in June 1965. She then married Lowell Eugene Louder on December 1, 1973 in Memphis, MO, and he died November 14, 1984.
She was a graduate of Memphis High School in 1940 and attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville, MO. She taught in rural school in Cone, Friendship, Union and Hendricks. She later worked for McQuoid Grocery and at the Sheller Globe Plant for 26 years, retiring in 1982 and had managed the SunRise Motel for several years.
She was very active in the Boy Scouts, serving as a leader and was a member of the Round Table in the District, a leader with the DLR Staff and Pow Wow Staff and was a committee member for Lancaster and Unionville Districts.
She was a member of the Memphis Methodist Church, a member of the Martha Circle and served as a lay speaker since 1986. She was also a member of the Rebecca Lodge of Memphis, MO.
She is survived by a son, William Rush of New Sharon, IA; a step-son, Harvey Louder of Springville, TN; two grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Donald Hunter of Brunswick, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a step-daughter, Ann Aldridge and her husband, Charles.
Funeral services were held September 24, 2005, at the Memphis Funeral Home, Memphis, MO, with the Rev. Charles Hammack officiating. Burial was in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO. A memorial has been established to the Boy Scouts Troop #97 of Memphis, MO. Arrangements were handled by the Memphis Funeral Home, Memphis, MO.
