Josephine Miller, 85, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away May 18, 2005, at Abbey Delray Health Center in Delray Beach.
Born April 19, 1920 in Rutledge, MO, she was the daughter of Dan and Myrtle Woodruff.
She lived most of her life in the Memphis, MO area. She moved to Florida in 1982.
She was a graduate of Rutledge High School. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a lifetime member of the Memphis Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, George Bill Townsend (Sheila) of Danville, IA; a daughter, Mary Ann Allen of Deerfield Beach, FL; a granddaughter, Amber Allen of Pompano Beach, FL; a grandson, Brent Townsend of Chicago, IL; a sister, Kathleen Kleinhans of Port St. Lucie, FL; a cousin, Lucille Tague of Memphis, MO; and nieces and nephews.
Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters.
According to her wishes, the body has been cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date in her hometown of Memphis, MO.
