HELEN L. FORQUER
(8/29/1930-3/16/2005)



Helen Lavonne Forquer age 74 of Baring, Missouri passed away March 16, 2005 at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis, Missouri.

Born August 29, 1930 she was a daughter of Timothy and Coyla (Weatherly) Rohweller.

On July 19, 1975 in Burlington, Iowa she was united in marriage to Arthur Lee Forquer who preceded her in death on March 18, 1999.

Surviving are two daughters, Penny Perkins and her husband, James of Marietta, Georgia and Luccille Siefken and her husband, Thomas of Rockford, Illinois; one son, Douglas Vogt of Watertown, Minnesota; two brothers, Carroll Rohweller and his wife, Betty of Goodrich, North Dakota and Donald Rohweller and his wife, Shirley of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister, Charlotte Alward and her husband, Lee of Clinton, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, Vickie Thiner and Debbie Lyons and one brother, Gordon Rohweller.

Helen was raised in Iowa where she attended school in Doon. She was a dietary assistant at St. Francis Hospital in Burlington, Iowa for twenty years retiring in 1992. After her retirement she and her husband moved to Greensburg, Missouri to make their home.

She was an artist; who did a lot of painting including painting on saws. Helen also enjoyed crossword puzzles. Helen attended the Salvation Army Church at Kirksville, Missouri. She was a very loving and generous person who will be sadly missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Funeral services were held March 19, 2005 at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. Reverend Norm Snowbarger officiated the services. Burial was at the Greensburg Cemetery at Greensburg, Missouri. Casket bearers were Tim Siefken, Tim Vogt, Brian Gire, Ronnie Howe, Cavot Cooley, James Thiner and Patrick Thiner.

An expression of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Forquer may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association. The memorials may be left at or mailed to the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1, Edina, MO 63537.
