Ethel Blaine Millett, 90, of San Antonio, TX, died March 8, 2005, under the care of hospice. She was a World War II Veteran and a prisoner of war.

Born near Bible Grove, she was one of 13 children of Will and Alta Blaine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Millett; her parents, five brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Van Millett of San Antonio, TX, and Bill Millett of Clinton, VA; three sisters, Verlee Blaine of Madisonville, KY, Madeline Phillips of Kankakee, IL, and Maxine Brewer of Bible Grove, MO; one brother, Millard Blaine of rural Baring, MO; a niece, Betty Couch of Edina, MO, who was raised in the Blaine home; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial services were held in San Antonio, TX, with burial at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery near her husband.
