Gorin Man Hurt In Crash West of Medill

A Gorin man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash in Clark County on March 21. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 1:10 p.m. on Highway 136, just west of Medill.

Dwight Branch, 57, was eastbound on Highway 136 in a tractor-trailer hauling a load of pallets. The passenger-side wheels of the truck reportedly dropped off the road and forced the truck into the ditch where it overturned.

Branch was taken to Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis for treatment of his injuries.

Traffic on Highway 136 was stopped for approximately 30 minutes as a result of the crash.
