Memphis Girl Injured In New Year’s Eve Crash
The 2004 year ended terribly for a Memphis girl that was seriously injured in a one-car accident in Adair County on New Year’s Eve morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jamie Fuller, 17, was eastbound on Route A, two miles west of Willmathsville when she apparently lost control of her 1995 Chevrolet Camaro. The vehicle ran off the north side of the road and overturned three times before coming to rest in a field.
Fuller, a junior at Scotland County R-I High School, was ejected from the car. The accident occurred at 8:55 a.m. December 31st.
She was taken to the University Medical Center in Columbia for treatment of her injuries.
Fuller was cited for failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
