Garrett Wins Second Straight Race At Show-Me Speedway

Andy Garrett made it two in a row as he took the checkered flag in the Junior I Heavy class feature race at Show-Me Speedway in Downing on August 21. Garrett won the feature race the previous week in a rain make-up date at the go-kart track. He held off Dylan Kriegshuaser in the #20 kart and the #18 ride of Clay Darr.

Garrett was not the lone repeat winner. Elliot O’Neal also won back-to-back races in the Rookie class. He defeated Alex Macomber in the #21 kart and Joey Hagar in the #37 kart.

The Junior II race was won by #32 Tyler Hagar. He finished ahead of Jesse Simmons (#42) and Wes Golden (#3).

Rachel Shahan (#8) took the checkered flag in the Junior I race. Chase Colton (#34c) took second followed by Brittany Thelen (#8x).

The Stock class feature went to #38 Ron Tennyson. He bested the #12 kart of Jennie Hutchinson as well as the #15 ride of Kirk Hopkins.

The Over 40 race winner was Jack Stotts and the #60 kart. Rhea Golden (#711) was second ahead of Mike Thelen (#56).

Lisa Tuggle of LaPlata won $77.50 in the 50/50 contest.
