Three Tiger Golfers Earn All-Conference Honors
Despite placing three players on the all-conference list the Scotland County golf team had to settle for third place overall in the Tri-Rivers Conference Tournament held May 3 at the Brookfield Country Club.
The host team shot a 326 to take the league title. Dameon Knowles carded a round of 74 to lead the winning team and take top individual honors.
Schuyler County edged the Tigers by just two strokes for second place. SCR-I settled for third with a score of 355.
Putnam County finished fourth with a round of 362 followed by Clark County (394), Knox County (409) and Milan (413).
Corvin Drummond topped the scorecard for SCR-I with a round of 82. The senior earned first team all-conference honors.
Freshmen Zach McBee and Marcus Shalley earned second team all-conference honors. McBee finished with an 87 and Shalley had an 89 to finish in the top 12 individual scores. Kyle Lister shot a 97 and Logan Trueblood had a 102 to round out the team scores.
