EDNA MAE ROBINSON

Edna Mae Robinson, 78, of Keosauqua, IA, died April 28, 2004, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center, Ottumwa, IA.
She was born May 8, 1925 near Granger, MO, to Edgar and Bertha Cochenour Smith.
She married Ward Robinson on February 4, 1942, at the Methodist Parsonage in Kahoka, MO. He died September 25, 1999. They lived in Twin Falls, ID and Keokuk, IA, and moved to the farm in Scotland County, MO, in 1950, retired to Milton, IA in 1983 and moved to Keosauqua, IA in 1993.
Edna Mae was a member of Prairie View Methodist Church, Azen, MO, and in recent years attended Cantril and Keosauqua (IA) United Methodist Churches.
Her hobbies were reading and quilting and she had done many quilts including several for people from various parts of the United States.
Surviving are two sons, Steve Robinson and wife, Malonda of Memphis, MO and Dennis Robinson and wife, Janice of Kahoka, MO; a daughter, Sharon Baker of Kirksville, MO; six grandchildren, Kiann Reese, Kelly Robinson, Kerry Baker, Jamie Robinson, Jenny Aldridge and Holly Baker; and five great-grandchildren, Shana, Kaleb and Logan Reese, Kyle Aldridge and Kilee Bradley-Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Casey Baker; a son-in-law, Phillip Baker; three brothers, Lawrence, Frank and James Smith; and a sister, Mary Gonzales.
Funeral services were held May 1, 2004, in Cantril United Methodist Church, Cantril, IA, with Rev. Raymond Doser officiating. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril, IA. Memorials to Cantril United Methodist Church or the charity of the donorís choice may be left at or mailed to Pedrick Funeral Home, P.O. Box 513, Keosauqua, IA, 52565. Pedrick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
