CHARLES FRANKLIN MOSS (10/2/1951 - 4/20/2004)

Charles Franklin Moss of Keokuk, IA, was born October 2, 1951, in Unionville, MO, and he passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2004, in Keokuk, IA.

He was the son of Carl and Katie Cox of Moravia, IA, and the late Kenneth Moss. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and brother, who loved the outdoors, woodworking, glass etching, reading, and spending time with his family.

He was married to Diana Hermes and had one son, Kenneth Moss Wilson.

He later married Maureen Goodwin and had two daughters, Natalie Ann Moss Humphreys and Tonya Marie Moss Small. They were married for many years.

He recently married Mary Etta Fountain. They were married for a little over a year.

He was employed by Steel Casting of Keokuk, IA, where he was a welder.

He was baptized in the Baptist faith as a child, and was a member of Broadlawns Baptist Church of Unionville, MO.

He graduated from high school in Unionville, MO in 1970.

He will be missed by many survivors including his parents, Carl and Katie Cox; his wife, Mary Etta of Wayland, MO; his son, Kenneth Wilson and significant other, Dana Overall and their children, Kristopher and Brooklyn of St. Louis, MO; his daughter, Natalie Humphreys and husband, Chad and their children, Asa and Corrigan of Kahoka, MO; and his daughter, Tonya Small and her husband, John of Memphis, MO.

He is also survived by his brother, Frank Cox of Moravia, IA; four sisters, Norma Burns of Harvey, IA; Karen Dommer and her significant other, Steve Golston of Iconium, IA, June Fort and her husband, Randy of Knoxville, IA, and Carla Bauer, and her husband, David of Knoxville, IA; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; grandparents, Charles and Nancy Jimerson and Franklin and Eliza Moss, all formerly of Unionville, MO; and one niece, Misty Burns.

He was put to rest in Kahoka, MO.
