McBee Named Semi-Finalist For Miss Missouri Teen USA Title
Kelli McBee of Memphis was one of 16 semi-finalists in the 2005 Miss Missouri Teen USA pageant. This year’s event was held at the Music Hall in downtown Kansas City on Sunday, December 12, 2004 in conjunction with the 2005 Miss Missouri USA contest.
McBee, a 17-year-old senior at Scotland County R-I High School, earned the right to compete as “Miss Northeast Missouri Teen.”
The 116 contestants were judged in three categories: Evening Gown, Swimsuit, and Interview. There were 16 Semi-Finalists in the “Miss” competition, and in the “Teen” competition.
Andrea Ciliberti was crowned Miss Missouri USA 2005, and Rachel Woolard is the new Miss Missouri Teen USA.
“Miss Missouri Teen USA 2005,” Rachel Woolard, entered this year’s pageant as “Miss Black River Festival Teen.” The 16-year-old Naylor, Missouri, resident is a sophomore at Naylor High School.
The reigning “Miss USA,” Shandi Finnessey was on hand, to watch her fellow Missourians on their special night.
“Miss Missouri USA 2005,” Andrea Ciliberti, entered this year’s pageant as “Miss North Kansas City.” The 21-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, resident is a 2nd-year accounting student at Maple Woods Community College.
Both Andrea and Rachel will now go on to compete for the title of “Miss USA” and “Miss Teen USA,” respectively, at the national competitions in the spring. The Miss USA Pageant will be televised from Baltimore, on a date yet to be determined.
Shandi Finnessey didn’t have long to enjoy being “Miss Missouri USA 2004” before she earned a new crown: “Miss USA 2004.” The 25-year-old native of Florissant, Missouri, is now traveling the world and working with various charities.
The Missouri USA Pageant is produced by Vanbros and Associates of Overland Park, KS. The events are sanctioned by The Donald Trump Miss Universe Organization. They were sponsored, in part, this year by the Missouri Beef Industry, Applebee’s, and E10 Energy Drink.
