Terry Rush’s New Book Dedicated to Memphis

Empowering the Ordinary, Terry Rush’s eighth book, will hit the stands this week. Its content is devoted to helping the common person gain confidence of God living within the believer.

“So many Christians love the idea of God,” says Rush, “but regard themselves as powerless; too weak to make a difference.” “I’m hoping this book motivates readers to open themselves to greater possibilities and potential.” “With God we can do more than we can imagine.” Included in the book are guides for classes and small group studies.

A unique entry at the beginning of Empowering the Ordinary is a page dedicating the book to Scotland County residents. Whether being interviewed by the media or by other authors, Rush has been vocal of his good fortune to be reared in the Memphis area.

“I’m always looking for ways to cheer Memphis residents.” “I’m hoping this will convey the honor so many deserve for being hard-working, responsible people who do well at caring for their community.”

The book will be available at J’s Foods in Memphis.

Rush currently has three other books in print: God Will Make a Way; The Miracle of Mercy; and Voice of Silver; Heart of Gold.

Other books by Rush include: You Can’t Get To Heaven Saving Green Stamps; Afraid God Works; Afraid He Doesn’t; The Holy Spirit Makes No Earthly Sense; and If He Can Walk on Water We Can Wade Through Life.
