Execution Of Warrant Nets More Charges

Deputies from the Scotland County Sheriff's Department and officers from the Memphis Police Department served a Scotland County arrest warrant on May 5 for Anthony Gesualdo.

The warrant was for eight class A misdemeanor charges of passing bad checks. At the time of his arrest Gesualdo was found to be in possession drug paraphernalia as well as an illegal concealed weapon. He faces additional charges for both actions.

Gesualdo is being held in the Scotland County Jail on a $1,000 cash-only bond awaiting his court date.

The sheriff's department also made a pair of arrests earlier in the week.

On May 3 Walter S. Freitag, 54, was arrested for DWI and driving without a valid license (second offense). He was taken to the Scotland County Jail for a 12-hour hold before being released and assigned a May 13 court date.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Linda K. Freitag, 51, on a class C felony charge of domestic assault in the second degree stemming from an April 29 incident. She is being held in the Clark County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond awaiting her May 27 court date.
