Memphis Teen Suffers Minor Injuries In Crash
A Memphis teenager escaped a serious motor-vehicle accident April 20 with just minor injuries.
Shawn A. Glidewell, 16, was eastbound on Highway 136 five miles east of Memphis when he apparently lost control of the 1988 Ford he was driving. According to the accident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned several times before coming to rest on its side.
Glidewell was transported by the Scotland County Ambulance Service to Scotland County Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The Scotland County Sheriff's Department and the ambulance service assisted the Highway Patrol at the scene.
