Memphis Man Arrested On Drug Charges
A Memphis man was arrested Saturday, April 5 on drug charges following the completion of an investigation by area law enforcement officials.
The Scotland County Sheriff's Department arrested Clark D. "Bubba" Hauk, 37, of Memphis on a warrant for the distribution of a controlled substance (marijuana). Hauk was served with the warrant at 10:30 a.m. in Memphis. The arrest stemmed from an investigation by the Northeast Missouri Drug Taskforce.
The Scotland County Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Clark County K-9 unit during the arrest. A search of Hauk's vehicle revealed what was believed to be drug paraphernalia. Hauk appeared before the Scotland County Associate Circuit Court April 5 and was scheduled to do so again April 6. He is facing a class B felony charge on the distribution count. He is being held in the Scotland County Jail on $50,000 cash bond.
