The win followed up a 43-25 victory over Canton on January 12. Kittle led the way in that contest as well with nine points. Valerie Crawford contributed eight points while Brandi Mallett finished with seven and Elizabeth Monroe had five.
That ended a three-game losing streak that featured losses to Knox County, Fox Valley and Schuyler County.

SCR-I followed that up with a 35-23 defeat at the hands of the Trotters on December 15. The team built a 21-11 deficit in the first half and never could recover. Mallett paced the offense with eight points.
The losing streak went to three games with a 38-33 loss to Schuyler County.
