Scotland County Sheriff's Department Reports Two Arrests

The Scotland County Sheriff's Department reported a pair of arrests were made over a 24-hour period February 8 and 9.

Adam Lee Miller, 18, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, was arrested following a traffic stop at 3:40 p.m. February 8. Miller was ticketed for minor in possession of intoxicating liquor. He was issued a summons and is scheduled to appear March 5 in the Scotland County Associate Circuit Court.

Cathey J. Kugler, 48, was arrested at 2:00 a.m. February 9 following a disturbance. She was charged with domestic assault in the third degree. She was released following booking and issued a summons to appear in court February 19.
